Women's Health
- Between 6 and 10 million health care visits in the United States by women are related to symptoms of vaginitis. Traditional methods of vaginitis diagnosis have been inaccurate. Here at Mega Lab-Health Care we perform nucleic acid amplification testing, which is the most up-to-date technology for the diagnosis of vaginal pathogens. Studies have shown that using a vaginal panel assay demonstrated higher sensitivity for detection compared to the traditional methods of detection, while maintaining a comparable specificity. [1]
- Here are some of the signs and symptoms an individual may experience with a vaginal tract infection:

- Itching or irritation
- Painful urination
- Pain during intercourse
- 5 most common pathogens associated with vaginal tract infections:

Studies have shown, in the next 15 seconds, a child somewhere in the world will die from diarrheal disease. Every single resident of developed countries is expected to become ill from a gastrointestinal infection at least once in the next 1824 months, and yet gastrointestinal illness hardly registers as a major public health problem. [1]
- Here are some of the signs and symptoms an individual may experience with a gastrointestinal tract infection:
- Diarrhea

Chemistry Panel
- CMP = Complete Metabolic Panel
- BMP = Basic Metabolic Panel
- CMP:
- Our fully automated clinical laboratory uses highly efficient instrumentation to assist healthcare providers in assessing routine chemistry panels, including CMPs, lipids and liver enzymes for precise and high-speed analysis.
- Metabolic testing can reveal how the parts of your body are working together to support vital functions, such as heart rate, brain function, and breathing.
- CMP blood tests measure the compounds in your blood that are vital to your overall health and provide information on your metabolism, including sugars, minerals, electrolytes, enzymes, and waste products.
- Components measured:
- ALB (Albumin)
- ALP (Alkaline Phosphatase)
- ALT (Alanine Aminotransferase)
- AST (Aspartate Aminotransferase)
- BUN (Blood Urea Nitrogen)
- Ca (Calcium)
- Cl- (Chloride)
- CO2 (Carbon Dioxide)
- CREA (Creatinine)
- GLU-H (Glucose-Hexokinase)
- K+ (Potassium)
- Na+ (Sodium)
- TBIL (Total Bilirubin)
- TP (total Protein)
- BMP:
- The Basic Metabolic Panel provides information on blood sugar (glucose) level, the balance of electrolytes and fluids, and the health of the kidneys.
- Serum collected in serum separator tube or red top tube. If a red top tube is used, transfer separated serum to a plastic transport tube.
- CPT Code: 80048
- The panel is usually ordered as part of a routine health examination or physical.
- A doctor may prescribe the BMP as a basic health screening test during regular checkups to detect possible underlying health concerns before symptoms have occurred.
- Components measured:
- BUN (Blood Urea Nitrogen)
- Ca (Calcium)
- Cl- (Chloride)
- CO2 (Carbon Dioxide)
- CREA (Creatinine)
- GLU-H (Glucose-Hexokinase)
- K+ (Potassium)

Hematology
- CBC = Complete Blood Count
- CBC
- Our high complexity lab assists healthcare providers with routine blood analysis testing using our rapid and high-performance machinery.
- In order to detect illnesses that may affect your overall health, a CBC blood test is the first step. It is used as a screening test for various disease states.
- Among the most essential substances in your body is your blood; it transports nutrients, hormones, oxygen, and waste products for removal by the lungs, liver, and kidneys.
- You and your healthcare provider can get valuable information about your overall health from this total blood count (CBC) test. This full blood panel can also act as an initial step to detect health conditions like anemia, inflammation, blood disorders, and infection. A complete blood count of your red blood cells (RBCs), white blood cells (WBCs), and platelets can be measured with this panel.
- Components measured:
- WBC (White Blood Cell Count)
- Neu# (Neutrophils Count)
- Lym# (Lymphocytes Count)
- Mon# (Monocytes Count)
- Eos# (Eosinophils Count)
- Bas# (Basophils Count)
- Neu% (Neutrophils Percentage)

Immigration DNA Testing
It is required to prove a biological relationship between a petitioner and a beneficiary, using an AABB accredited immigration DNA testing lab, especially when the supporting documents and evidence is deemed insufficient to prove the relationship. The case becomes inconclusive by the USCIS or U.S. embassy and the petitioner’s request may be denied. In most cases, the USCIS or U.S Embassy may advise the petitioner to proof biological family relationship with DNA, using an AABB accredited immigration DNA Laboratory.
Examples of DNA tests used for immigration purposes include paternity tests, maternity tests, siblingship tests, and grand-parentage tests, all of which must utilize AABB accredited testing facilities.
